Знаете ли вы, что одним из этапов собеседования во многих авиакомпаниях является описание картинки? Этот тест кажется простым лишь на первый взгляд. На самом деле, он проверяет не только ваш английский, но и логику, внимательность к деталям, умение мыслить структурно.

Чаще всего на данном этапе предоставляют картинку с нестандартной ситуацией, например, пожар или каким-либо происшествием, как посадка Airbus 321 на кукурузном поле. Ваша задача – рассказать на английском, что вы видите на фотографии с наибольшим количеством деталей. Перед началом внимательно рассмотрите картинку. У вас есть секунд 10-20 для обдумывания. Лучше всего использовать это время, чтобы подобрать (вспомнить) слова и фразы, которыми воспользуетесь в дальнейшем.

При описании вам понадобятся следующие грамматические конструкции:

1. there is / are

2. the Present Continuous Tense при описании фотографии (при описании фотографий глаголы обычно ставятся в настоящее длительное время)
3. модальные глаголы can, could, may, might в значении предположения
4. действительные и страдательные причастия
5. who, which, whose и др.

I would like to describe a picture. In this picture I can see an aviation accident. It is an emergency landing in the field. The plane is remarkably intact. There is no visible fire or major structural damage.

As for the aircraft in this picture, it is Airbus 321. It is a twin-engine aircraft of Ural Airlines. There are some people near the aircraft. In the foreground we can see fire track and some vehicles.
I'm familiar with this accident, which occurred in 2019. It involved a scheduled passenger flight from Moscow-Zhukovsky to Simferopol. Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft experienced a bird strike, forcing it to make an emergency landing in a cornfield approximately 5 kilometers from the airport.
